Reflection on the Rittenhouse Trial
The Rittenhouse Trial has come to a close. The jury ruled on Friday, November 19, that 18-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse was not guilty of murder, assault or gun charges. After the jury finished its third day of deliberations, they found Rittenhouse not guilty on all counts against him. Rittenhouse, a young white man, shot and killed two men and injured another during Day Three of the Kenosha Riots on August 25, 2020. All three men Rittenhouse shot were white. Rittenhouse was 17-years-old at the time these events took place. Tensions are rising after Rittenhouse’s acquittal was announced, with Left-wing Black Lives Matter and AntiFa anarchists threatening during the trial that more rioting will break out if Rittenhouse wasn’t convicted. These far-left radical extremists are the same ones who orchestrated the 2020 Summer of Rage riots throughout the United States last year, mostly in Democrat-run cities....
