(Parody) Negan enters 2020 Presidential Election field as a Democrat

After getting more than he bargained for with Rick Grimes, Negan has decided to throw his leather jacket into the ring of ever-increasing Democrats running for President in 2020. 

Negan, who leads a radical extremist group called the “Saviors,” decide to stop fighting the undead and instead fight the living as President of the United States. 

“We are the Saviors and we are going to save everyday Americans from themselves,” Negan said at a press conference outside the Sanctuary (the Saviors’ headquarters). “They can’t possibly think for themselves and improve their own lives. They must live under our ‘protection.’”

Negan automatically has received praise from liberal pundits and politicians for his anti-gun, anti-Second Amendment stance. 

“The key to any successful gun control is to walk into a community and take half their stuff and all their guns,” Negan said.

Negan is facing backlash from Republicans and conservatives who say he’s too fixated on killing people with a baseball bat instead of fixing America and improving the lives of regular Americans. 

“He’s too busy looking for people he can beat up with sporting equipment as long as it damages President Trump,” one conservative pundit said. “And when there’s no one around to begin with, Negan makes up people where none exist.” 

Negan is confident that by the time the first Democrat Primary Debate comes around, he will have all the other Democrat candidates saying, “I’m Negan.”
