(Parody) Power Rangers sue Netflix for copyright infringement over “Voltron: Legendary Defender.”

The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers have returned!

After binge watching the first season of “Voltron: Legendary Defender” on Netflix, the Power Rangers noticed similarities between their lives and Team Voltron.

The Power Rangers are now suing Netflix for copyright infringement.

The original team claim that the Netflix original TV show “Voltron: Legendary Defender,” stole elements and characters right from their own lives and adventures.

Each of the Power Rangers believe that Netflix executives and producers knew full well they were stealing from them.

“We’re a group of teenagers who get special powers after we get color-coded suits that match our personalities from an ancient being and metal animals that turn into a giant metal man that helps us fight evil aliens,” Jason Lee Scott, the Red Ranger, said.

“Voltron: Legendary Defender” is about a group of teenagers who get special powers and color-coded suits from an ancient being that match their personalities, as well as mechanical animals that turn into a giant metal man that helps them fight against evil aliens.

“I mean, clearly someone at Netflix watched us battle Rita Repulsa and Lord Zed,” Tommy Oliver, the White Ranger, said.

Oliver also pointed out how he and Shiro, the Black Paladin, are a lot alike because both of them “were forced to work for the bad guys against our will, but then broke free and found solidarity with our teammates.”

Netflix refused to comment about the similarities between “Power Rangers” and “Voltron.”

In a statement to the press, a Netflix spokesman claimed the Power Rangers team has no grounds to win their case.

“Various of ‘Voltron’ have been produced since the 1980s and the Power Rangers have been around since 1993 with ‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers,’” the Netflix spokesman said. “If anything, both franchises have been copying each other ever since their creation.”

At the time of publication, it is unclear if the case will be settled by having a Voltron - Power Rangers crossover program on Netflix.
