(Parody) 2020 Dems choose the Blue Pill in the new “Matrix” remake


In a long run of Hollywood remakes and reboots, “The Matrix” is the latest franchise to get a reboot.

2020’s “The Matrix Rebooted” (because the “Matrix” series is getting a reboot) sees Keanu Reeves returning to the latest “Matrix” film, reprising his iconic role as Neo. 

Joining Reeves are the 25 Democrats running for President against Donald Trump in 2020. 

Unlike Reeves’ character, the Democrats overwhelming choose to take the blue pill and believe whatever they want about America.

“Take the blue pill, and you’ll wake up tomorrow believing whatever you want about America, Donald Trump, conservatives and everyday Americans,” Laurence Fishburne’s Morpheus tells the Democrats when offering them a choice between fantasy and reality. “Take the red pill, and I’ll show you all the good things about America, Donald Trump, conservatives and everyday Americans. 

“Socialism rocks!” Bernie Sanders said when taking his blue pill. 

“America was never great,” former Vice President Joe Biden said as he took the blue pill. 

“Catholics are evil,” Sen. Kamala Harris said before taking the blue pill and putting on a Know-Nothing Party hat on her head. 

“White people are evil,” Sen. Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren said after taking the blue bill and donning buckskin clothes. 

“ICE and Border Patrol run concentration camps,” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said as she swallowed a handful of blue pills. 

“I’m Mexican!” Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke said as he eat a blue pill with Spanish words on it. 

At publishing time, the new “Matrix” film’s plot is believed to recon the “Matrix” sequel films and will appeal to the fans (unlike the Star Wars sequel trilogy).

Local Kansas City parish hosts annual Marian Conference

In “33 Days to Morning Glory,” Father Michael E. Gaitley talks about how Mother Mary wants people to come closer to her son, Jesus, through her.
