California Senator Kamala Harris released her campaign slogan for her 2020 presidential election campaign.

Reporting exclusively to CNN and MSNBC after the second Democratic Primary Debate last week, Harris’ campaign team revealed her official slogan is: “Kamala, Kamala, hates every Catholic fella.”

“We feel that this slogan best reflects Senator Harris’ views and the people she represents,” a Kamala Harris campaign spokesperson told reporters at a press conference. “Why else do you think she’s so hard on Joe Biden?”

Harris faced controversy back in December 2018 when she and Hawaii Senator Maize Hirono (also a Democrat) showed anti-Catholic bias against a federal judicial nominee by President Donald Trump.

Brian Buescher, a lawyer based in Omaha, Nebraska, was questioned by Harris and Hirono about his membership with the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic lay organization for men.

The Senate confirmed Buescher last month as a federal judge by a vote of 51-40.

Harris didn’t cast her vote in the decision. She and Hirono received criticism for their blatant anti-Catholic rhetoric at the time of the confirmation hearing back in January.

Harris called the Knights of Columbus an “all-male society” that excludes women and said that Buescher’s membership in the organization, as well as his Catholic faith, should automatically exclude him from serving in public office.

“Senator Harris has made it clear she thinks Catholics aren’t capable of serving in public office and have no place in the United States,” the Harris spokesperson said. “And to her, Catholic men are the worst, especially if they practice their faith and conform to Progressive policies.”

A reporter asked the Harris spokesperson if those remarks were sexist because they exhibit an “anti-men” bias.

The spokesperson then went on a rant calling the reporter a sexist for saying that about a woman running for President, only to realize in shock that the reporter was a woman herself.
