(Parody) New "Munchkin" board game takes jabs at U.S. politics

[Disclaimer: This article is a parody story. While some events in this article are actually taking place, it is written for comedy purposes and shouldn’t be taken too seriously.]

First, there was Socialist Monopoly.

Now, there is Political Munchkin

“Munchkin” game developer Steve Jackson Games announced the newest release in the “Munchkin” game series, taking a spin on current American politics.

“Instead of going through levels, slaying monsters and getting to the treasure, players are able to go through levels, attack monsters and players of the same or opposite party, and make their way to the Election Podium,” game creator Steve Jackson said. “We want our customers to have a funny take on the 2020 Election Cycle.”

Some of the featured items and weapons in the game include:

·      Elizabeth Warren’s headdress
·      Kamala Harris’ Know-Nothing Party membership card (a token of her anti-Catholic bigotry)
·      Activist Judge’s gavel
·      A double standard (a banner with two poles)
·      MAGA Hat of Awesomeness
·      Pants-Suit
·      Screaming SJW
·      Winning Smile (courtesy of Donald Trump)
·      Bernie Sanders’ shiny head
·      “Beto” O’Rourke’s skateboard
·      Joe Biden spray repellant
·      Maxine Waters’ wig
·      AR-15 Assault Rifle

A few of the monsters in the game are:

·      AntiFa Thug
·      Catholic high school teenage boy in a MAGA hat
·      Lying politician
·      Shifty Adam Schiff (D-CA)
·      Planned Parenthood lobbyist
·      RINO (Republican in name only, like Mitt Romney for example)
·      Deep State bureaucrat
·      Intelligence Community “whistleblower” who hates Trump
·      A vegan
·      Facts
·      Emotion
·      Twitter ban
·      Social Media censorship
·      College campus censorship
·      YouTube demonetization
·      VOX Ad-pocalypse (remember Steven Crowder?)

There is also a Trump card (pun intended) that allows players to switch parties at any point during the game.

At publishing time, Jackson revealed that the greatest opponent in the game is real-life Donald Trump, but that no one has been able to beat him.

“I can’t think of anybody who can beat Trump,” Jackson said. “No one can.”

“Political Munchkin” is expected to hit shelves in Summer 2020, just in time for the 2020 Presidential Election.
