(Parody) Actor Justin Theroux mistaken for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau

Canadian citizens have reportedly flocked to Justin Theroux on his filming trips to Canada.

“Alright, Justin Theroux will come out and walk across this street,” a producer said during one of these instances.

“Look, there’s the Prime Minister!” a Canadian bystander said after hearing Theroux’s name. “He’s over here!”

Dozens of Canadians ran to get a glimpse of Theroux, believing that he is their prime minster.

The incidents in question resulted from Theroux, an American actor, sharing a similar name with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Trudeau, a prominent progressive and global elitist, has become a controversial figure for his anti-American, anti-Trump and pro-political correctness views.

A side-by-side photo comparison of Theroux and Trudeau revealed that the two men do look alike, especially when both men have beards or are clean-shaven.

“When I go to film a show in Canada, bystanders would hear someone say my name and assume that they were saying ‘Trudeau,’ and not ‘Theroux,’” Theroux said to reporters.

“So my name is similar to the Canadian Prime Minster,” Theroux added. “It’s not my fault. Plus I get free publicity.”

The Canadian government has banned Theroux from entering Canada in order to stop people from mistaking him for Trudeau.

It is unclear if Theroux will sue Canada by claiming they are discriminating against him.

Requests for comment to the Canadian Department of Hate Crime and Trudeau’s office have gone unanswered.

At publishing time, comedian Matt Meese from Studio C was banned from entering France because the French believe Meese looks just like French President Emmanuel Macron and people would mistake the two men.

A side-by-side comparison of Meese and Macron reveal they do in fact look similar.
