(Parody) Nancy Pelosi and Democrats praised and condemned for “photo-op” moment

Democrats show their commitment to “unifying” Americans by kneeling together.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and other prominent Democrat lawmakers gathered together inside the Capitol Visitor Center on Monday, June 8, to kneel on one knee as a sign of protest against “police brutality” and “systemic racism” in the wake of George Floyd’s death at the hands of a few bad police officers.

Dozens of cameras and reporters gathered to photograph and stream live video of the kneeling Democrats.

“We kneel here in support of Black Americans and to bring our country together to condemn hate,” Pelosi told reporters after she was helped back up after kneeling.

The leftist media’s reaction to the Democrats’ actions were in sharp contrast to their reaction to President Donald Trump walking across the White House lawn to St. John’s Episcopal Church on June 1, when the President gave a speech as he held a Bible in his hand.

President Trump used his speech, and his earlier address in the Rose Garden, to show solidarity with the American people and small business owners to keep them safe, restore law and order in the United States, and to symbolize that we won’t let violent protests and riots control our lives.

He stood outside the burned St. John’s Church as a sign of unity against violence.

However, Democrats and the Mainstream Media condemned President Trump, claiming Trump used the Bible and the church as a “photo-op.”

Conservative pundits quickly pointed out the hypocrisy of the Democrats and the left-leaning Mainstream Media.

“Here you had a bunch of old white guys and ladies kneeling down in Congress surrounded by reporters and photographers taking their pictures,” Fox News’ Jesse Watters said on “The Five.” “The only reason why Democrats and the media won’t call this a ‘photo-op’ is because Democrats are the ones who did it.”

“Yeah, Jesse, it’s kind of interesting no one at CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, VOX or The Young Turks is calling this Nancy Pelosi’s ‘photo-op,’” “The Five co-host Dana Perino said to Watters during the broadcast. “The media doesn’t like it when they get called out for their own hypocrisy.”

At publishing time, everyday conservative Americans support Trump’s action and everything he does, knowing fully well that Democrats and the media will continue to hate Trump and Republicans and everything they say and do.

Local Kansas City parish hosts annual Marian Conference
