(Parody) Democratic VP Nominee Kamala Harris: “I know nothing”

[Disclaimer: This article is a parody story. While some events in this article are actually taking place, it is written for comedy purposes and shouldn’t be taken too seriously.]

Democratic Vice President Nominee Kamala Harris, a far-left liberal Senator from California, will give her speech tonight at the Democratic National Convention.

Shortly before the DNC kicked off on Monday, Harris sat down with The American See’s own reporter, Derek Colt, to discuss several topics about the Biden-Harris Team.

Derek Colt, reporter:

Senator Harris, it’s great to have you here.

Senator Kamala Harris, Joe Biden’s Democratic Vice President Nominee:

It’s great bring here, Colt.

Colt:

I’d like to ask you about your positions on issues, particularly your stances concerning Catholics and religion in this country. Back in December 2018, you and Senator Maize Hirono (D-Hawaii) submitted written questions to Brian Buescher about his membership in the “Knights of Columbus” during his confirmation process. Some people claim those questions were anti-Catholic. Do you still stand by those positions?

Harris:

I know nothing.

Colt:

Well, the issue people have is that when you said the Knights of Columbus was “an all-male society” that worked against “women’s reproductive rights,” they see that as anti-Catholic bias. Do you think those remarks were offensive to Catholics in this country?

Harris:

I know nothing.

Colt:

Do you believe Catholics, particularly Catholic men, can’t be objective if they are faithful Catholics or if they are members of a Catholic lay organization?

Harris:

I know nothing.

Colt:

Senator Harris, this is important for our viewers so that understand what a Biden presidency would look like. Would you and Biden appoint Catholic men and women to government and judicial positions if they are personally against abortion and taxpayer-funded abortion?

Harris:

I know nothing.

Colt:

Let’s talk about your running mate, Joe Biden. Biden promised that if he is elected President, he will once again impose Obama-Biden restrictions against the Little Sisters of the Poor, a Catholic order of nuns, in order to make them provide coverage for contraceptives and other abortion drugs. The Supreme Court has already ruled twice in favor of the Little Sisters and their religious freedom. Do you support Biden’s stance against the Little Sisters of the Poor?

Harris:

I know nothing.

Colt:

But it’s against the First Amendment for the government to interfere in religious matters. Do you believe Biden should force religious organizations and people of faith to provide abortion drugs even if it’s against their religion?

Harris:

I know nothing.

Colt:
What exactly is Biden’s plan for religious people in the United States?

Harris:

I know nothing.

Colt:

Let’s move on to the violent protests and riots that have overtaken American cities lately in the wake of George Floyd’s death. Do you believe the so-called anti-police “protesters” are justified in destroying Catholic Church property and imagery, even though they claimed the protests and riots were all about George Floyd’s death and alleged “systemic racism” in the United States?

Harris:

I know nothing.

Colt:

But don’t the attacks against religious buildings and statues go against the message these protesters and politicians have made that the protests and riots are based on fighting “racism” and “police brutality”?

Harris:

I know nothing.

Colt:

Will you at least publicly condemn the violent attacks and arson against Catholics, Catholic churches and Catholic statues by far-left anarchists and rioters?

Harris:

I know nothing.

Colt:

As of today, Joe Biden hasn’t publicly condemned the attacks against Catholics. If Biden is a “devout” Catholic as he claims he is, why is he being silent on these attacks?

Harris:

I know nothing.

Colt:

Will Biden ever condemn the violence against Catholics in the United States?

Harris:

I know nothing.

Colt:

Do you condemn the violence and arson against Catholics and the Catholic Church in this country?

Harris:

I know nothing.

Colt:

Okay, it’s clear I’m not getting anything from you, so I’m just gonna say it: Are you and Biden biased against Catholics, and will you and Biden persecute Christians if you win in November?

Harris:

I know nothing.
