Reaction to the 2024 President Election and President Donald Trump’s comeback victory

Sitting President Donald Trump has just   won   the 2024 Presidential Election.   Trump was  declared the winner  after securing 277 Electoral College votes and the national popular vote. That number rose after Trump was declared the winner in Nevada.    The 45th President is now the second President in U.S. history since Grover Cleveland to win back the Presidency after losing his re-election bid and to have two non-consecutive terms as President.    (Joe Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 Election after many examples of voter fraud and election irregularities took place predominantly in the Swing States, including: delays in counting the ballots; overwhelming mail-in ballots; and cases where the counting rooms were boarded up; and local, state, and federal officials changing state voting laws in violation of the U.S. Constitution and their own state constitutions.)    While several states are still counting votes for the Pr...

Samaritan Review

Samaritan  is a 2022 action-adventure superhero film on AmazonPrime.   The film takes place in present-day Granite City 25 years after the superhero Samaritan and his supervillain twin brother Nemesis went missing after a power plant explosion.   The city has fallen into economic depression and lawlessness, reminiscent of Joe Biden’s America Last policies and crime-filled Democrat-run cities   The movie follows Sam, a 13-year-old boy living with his widowed mom who learns that his neighbor Joe Smith (played by Sylvester Stallone) may be Samaritan. He spent his whole life idolizing Samaritan as his hero after his dad died, so he’s naturally excited to meet the real-life Samaritan.   His suspicions are confirmed when Joe survives a hit-and-run and his healing powers kick in. Joe’s only weakness is that his body overheats when he gets hurt, and if his body gets too hot he would die.   Sam falls into a crowd of criminals led by Cyrus, who uses Nemesis’ likeness...

The Night Agent Review: Lost Potential for a “Terminal List” wannabe

You know, there comes a show that has great potential to be a good show, but then the writers and producers decide to turn it into woke leftist attacks on conservatives and toxic feminist dogma against male characters. Basically, the entire plot of Netflix’s The Night Agent boils down to men are incomplete, conservatives are unhinged fanatics, and anti-Trump “Orange Man Bad” propaganda.   The Night Agent could have been a good story about a Deep State conspiracy and how a regular FBI agent realized how corrupt and totalitarian the Federal Government has become.   Instead, it becomes the latest casualty of leftist propaganda in order to demonize men, conservatives and other Trump supporters.   As such, everything that the Chris Pratt-led “The Terminal List” gets right “The Night Agent” gets wrong.   The story begins with Peter Sutherland (played by Hillbilly Elegy’s Gabriel Basso), a young FBI agent who gets caught up in a conspiracy.   Sutherland stops a terrori...

Reflections on the NFL 2024 season: Weeks 4 and 5 in review

The Dallas Cowboys showed they need improvement, but they were able to beat the New York Giants 20-15 on Thursday, September 26t, with only a short week to prepare for them. But their effort was just enough to beat their division rivals.   Dak Prescott’s two touchdown passes and kicker Brandon Aubrey’s two field goals were just what they needed to beat Daniel Jones and this Giants team as the Cowboys move up to a 2-2 record as they prepare for the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5 after their mini-bye.   Despite dealing with a one hour and twenty-five minute rain delay, along with suffering injuries on their defense which included Micah Parsons, the Cowboys managed to overcome the Steelers and win 20-17. They now improve to 3-2 following Week Five, staying in the race against the 4-1 Washington Commanders in the NFC East.    The Kansas City Chiefs showed that they are still putting on close games against their opponents in a tight Week Four matchup with the Los Angeles C...

Reflections on the 2024 NFL Season: Weeks 2 and 3 in Review

Well, who expected the NFL to look like this at Week 3?   Sure, teams in the AFC like the Kansas City Chiefs start off strong with a 3-0 start, but the Pittsburg Steelers surprised everyone with their 3-0 start given the quarterback controversy between Justin Fields and Russell Wilson, as well as the Steelers’ offense this season and lack of touchdowns.    The Chiefs have won all of their games by one score, and they continue to show signs of struggle. Chiefs fans know that feeling all too well and it’s still their team manages to overcome the odds and when their division goes the AFC championship game and win the Super Bowl thanks to Patrick Mahomes and their team.    The Baltimore Ravens surprised everyone with an 0-2 start to the season, their first since Lamar Jackson took over as quarterback. Yet they managed win their first game against the Dallas Cowboys.    The Cincinnati Bengals, meanwhile, are going in the opposite direction. They also lost t...

Reflections on the 2024 NFL Season: Week One in Review

We are now one week into the start of the 2024 NFL football season. Each team has high hopes of winning the Super Bowl this year, but only one can claim the prize.   For the Dallas Cowboys, this could be a make or break year. Quarterback Dak Prescott and Head Coach Mike McCarthy were both entering the last year of their contracts, while wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was entering the last year of his rookie contract.   Both McCarthy and Prescott have made good records during the regular season, but that hasn’t helped the team in the playoffs, especially given the fact they got embarrassed at home last season in the playoffs by McCarthy’s kryptonite, the Green Bay Packers. Funny how he always loses to them.   It also doesn’t help that McCarthy is bad at time management in must-win situations when the game is close in the 4th quarter. How many times has he let the clock run down without spiking the ball or calling a timeout? As of this writing, McCarthy hasn’t signed a new contr...

For Greater Glory: Reaction to the Overturning of Roe v. Wade

We now live in a Post- Roe World.  The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 on Friday, June 24, to overturn Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey .   The Daily Wire and Fox News reported that conservative Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett, as well as Chief Justice John Roberts, ruled 6-3 majority decision in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case in favor of repealing Roe v. Wade , with the three liberal Justices dissenting.   ( Breitbart News reported the Dobbs decision as 5-4, with Roberts joining the three liberals in opposing the overturning of Roe .)   Chief Justice John Roberts, who is often a turncoat to conservatives (especially during the 2020 Presidential Election and pro-life cases), joined the five conservative Justices in issuing a concurrence for Dobbs but joined the three liberal Justices in opposing the overturning of Roe .    Roberts was also critical of the five co...
