When I was in college, my journalism professors taught us to never show bias when we wrote real news stories. They taught us to report the facts and get interviews from people on both sides of any given issue. Most of our stories had nothing to do with politics. They focused on students and events on campus or in the surrounding area.  Opinion stories are different. We were allowed to voice our opinions on issues. There was a place for that: it was the opinion column in the student newspaper.  As students, we knew the difference between real news stories and opinion pieces. We made sure to writ’s stories based on the facts and go from there. If we wrote false stories or misquoted our sources, we would have failed the class.  Unfortunately, liberals in the Mainstream Media have abandoned true journalism reporting.
