(Parody) President Trump invites pro-life advocate Tim Tebow to the 2019 State of the Union Address

[Disclaimer: This article is a parody story. While some events in this article are actually taking place, it is written for comedy purposes and shouldn’t be taken too seriously.]  After fighting with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) during the longest partial government shutdown in U.S. history, President Donald Trump will finally get to deliver his State of the Union address in front of a Democrat-controlled Congress. The State of the Union Address will be given by Trump on Tuesday, February 5. It was originally scheduled for Tuesday, January 29, was canceled after Pelosi refused to have Trump speak in the House Chamber – even though she sent him an invitation on January 3.  The speech, which is President Trump’s second State of the Union address, will discuss everything great about American and the accomplishments Trump has made since taking office.  A special guest star will be in attendance at this year’s State of the Union, when Pr...

(Parody) President Trump declares a national emergency in wake of polar vortex hitting the Midwest

[Disclaimer: This article is a parody story. While some events in this article are actually taking place, it is written for comedy purposes and shouldn’t be taken too seriously.]  After weeks of speculation, President Donald Trump has finally done it. He’s declared a national emergency to deal with a crisis. President Trump addressed the country form the Rose Garden saying that he has declared a national emergency to deal with the “humanitarian crisis” in the Midwest as a polar vortex hits the entire Midwest this week. “This storm is a threat to the American people. Temperatures are so severe that you can freeze to death just by walking to your car,” President Trump said. “I ran for President on the platform to protect the lives and interests of the American people, and I am well within my rights as President of the United States by declaring a national emergency to deal with this crisis.” Throughout this week, Strong wind-chills from the vortex caused temper...

Millennials: A Divided Generation

Socialist, ignorant, lazy.  That’s what a lot of people claim Millennials are. Millennials, those men and women between the ages of 20 and 35, or born between the years of 1980 and 1995, are commonly seen as more liberal than conservative. Conservative commentator Michael Knowles of “The Daily Wire” claims that New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez represents Millennials as a generation.  I don’t agree with everything Knowles says, but I believe he is wrong in assuming a majority of Millennials are liberals and hate capitalism. Rather, Millennials are divided evenly between conservative and liberal views. That’s usually the case for any age demographic or religious group. Catholics are a prime example. Fifty percent of Catholics are conservative and vote Republican, while the other fifty percent are liberals who vote for Democrats. Ocasio-Cortez, the self-avoided Democrat Socialist from Brooklyn, embodies the radical l...

A response to President Trump’s Oval Office Address

Last night, January 8, President Donald Trump delivered his first Oval Office Address to the American people.  In his speech, Trump outlined the humanitarian and border security crisis on the U.S. Southern Border with Mexico. Not only did he explain the economic cost of not having a wall on our border, he explained the human cost as well for both American citizens and the people making the trek to enter the United States illegally. Shortly after Trump’s address, Democrat leaders House Speaker Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer gave their rebuttal, claiming Trump was lying throughout his speech. That is a lie. Trump discussed the facts about the border security crisis facing the United States and the American people. Women and children are harmed traveling to the United States illegally. Illegal immigration drives down jobs and wages for American workers, especially among African Americans and Mexicans in the United States. So wh...
